Founded in 1994 and based in Jamesville, NY, Lodestone Banking specializes in comprehensively analyzing core banking systems, operations and business policies of community, regional and Top 100 banks to identify and implement areas of revenue enhancement. Lodestone Banking is unique because we act as bank profit consultants teaching banks how to ensure their operations are optimized to produce maximum, recurring bank revenue while staying aligned with regulation requirements.

Shahin D. Clark

Shahin D. Clark

President and co-founder of Lodestone Banking, Shahin Clark has more than 30 years of bank consulting experience with financial institutions in the United States, Hong Kong and Puerto Rico. She is not a stranger to analytical consulting as she grew up watching her father run the internal consulting division at a major international oil consulting company. She remembers that he always delivered outstanding results for his clients. Shahin began her own consulting career at Marine Midland Bank, now HSBC, in their bank-wide internal consulting division. She went on to consult with other institutions through another firm before helping to create Lodestone Banking in 1994. Over the past 20 years, she has led more than 75 deep penetrating consulting engagements for 55 financial institutions that range from $200 million to over $35 billion in assets.

She holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems (MIS) and a B.S. in Marketing from Syracuse University. She also earned a business degree from Pitman College in London, England. Shahin serves on the Syracuse University mentor program and lectures to finance students about opportunities in the banking industry as well as today’s challenges.

Senior vice president and managing partner, Mark Clark is the co-founder of Lodestone Banking Consultancy, Inc. Clark is responsible for client relationships, projects and operational management. He has successfully brought together accomplished bank consulting professionals and integrated their individual skill sets into Lodestone's core services. Clark has more than 30 years of account relationship management and marketing experience across several industries. Under his guidance, Lodestone has nationwide consulting relationships which utilize a high expertise-low leverage model that thrives in the highly competitive bank consulting arena.

Mr. Clark was invited to Beijing by the Chinese government in 1998 to lecture on the subject of "Bank Profit Improvement."
